How to Deepen The Human Connection with Gabriel DeRita

Our guest today is Gabriel DeRita

Gabe is a personal development coach & facilitator helping mission-driven humans live in alignment with their purpose. He left his tech job to travel the world by bike, and in the process found his calling in coaching. Gabe's favorite coaching approach is experiential learning, and he incorporates practices of play and exploration into the process of personal discovery with his clients.

Whether in the forest or in a zoom room, he believes curiosity and joy are the keys to transformation. His approach to personal growth is rooted in neuroscience-based CoActive coaching techniques and Authentic Relating, with a heaping spoonful of Japanese philosophy on top. He is passionate about foraging wild mushrooms, riding bikes, and the transformative power of psychedelics.

You can learn more about his work and connect with him on his website at www.effectiveconnection.com and on Instagram @funngabe. His next big project is a 10-day in-person retreat in Guatemala called the Human Mycelium Retreat. Inspired by Fungi, nature's great connectors, we will learn the powerful practices of Authentic Relating to strengthen connection and relationship so we can be leaders in our human ecosystems of community. By Terry Barkman 14 Jul, 2022
The Card Sort came into my life through a coaching client Kayla Viitamaki who is a UX (User Experience) Designer. For over two years we had been trying (and failing) to complete a Wheel of Life Exercise, and we would always find some more useful (if tangential) way of engaging with her needs and the life she was creating for herself.

Are your habits controlling you? If so, you are not alone. The lives of many people are controlled by their habits. It may be time for some discipline in your life.
