Being a Freerange Coach is an extension of my values of Freedom and Adventure expressed through the experiences of working with clientele in a pasture, field, or arena with horses!
What puts the wind in my sails is partnering with horses who are willing teachers, co-facilitators, and have taught me more about myself Being a human, Being a leader in what I call the journey of my Life-ship. I’m able to fully embrace my love of working with people on their personal and professional development as a professional Coach, (think the what makes us tick or tock) while blending in the development techniques of Equine Facilitated Learning methodologies, and more profoundly, the wisdom and spirit of the horse and herd!
Horses showcase our brilliance and our blind spots. They are master teachers and for thousands of years, our two species have developed a unique bond. Equinity Coaching is working individually or in teams with horses, not riding them, that helps us understand our social constructs, default patterns, operating systems, emotions, and behaviors. How we truly show up beyond our spoken words. It’s relationship-based work grounded in your relational experience with the horse; isn’t all of life about relationships be it with ourselves or others? Horses communicate nonverbally which requires clients to become more self-aware of their energetic impact, what they are saying that isn’t spoken yet is fully authentic, even if it's “oh my gosh, this is so disorienting being around this big, beautiful creature”.
At Equinity Coaching we explore our life, our beliefs and challenge our assumptions through building trust and authentic connection amidst the duality of the inter-species relationship of predator and prey. Trust me, it’s tough to deny the feedback of 1000+ lbs of horsepower!
